This week, I had the privilege of hanging out with Team Beacon, one
of our sub-groups from CPC, that was handing out fliers for ESL classes
that the church hosts.  Through an interesting set of events while they
were handing out some fliers, they made contact with a local counseling
clinic down the street.  Dr. Humberto was very warm and inviting and had
us come over to show us his facility.  We actually got to pray with
them and the majority of the people who work there.  I interviewed one
of the guys from the group about the experience so watch that below.

I'm really excited because Marcus and I just
went and met with Dr. Humberto, and we're going to be taking a group
this coming week over to help them clean the yard around their
facility.  I'm hoping that this connection with the Multicultural
Wellness Center will be a lasting one, and one that Wyoming Ave. Baptist
can continue even after the summer is over.
